Speech/Language Pathologist

Speech-language pathologists evaluate, diagnose, treat, and help prevent speech and language problems. They work with people who cannot produce speech sounds or pronounce them clearly, those with stuttering problems, have voice disorders such as inappropriate pitch, and people with problems understanding the language. Speech-language pathologists also help individuals with attention and memory problems, as well as difficulty swallowing.
