Anesthesiologist

An anesthesiologist provides medical care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Anesthesiologists are responsible for delivering anesthesia safely to patients  through preoperative medical evaluations and consulting with the surgical team before surgery in order to create a plan for anesthesia tailored to each individual patient. Anesthesiologists concentrate on care of surgical patients as well as pain relief throughout the surgery process.
