This optomologist told us after shining a medium intense flash light in our sons eye that he was concerned that our son could not see. When I asked him if he thought our son was blind, he said no but that his brain may not be able to see the images. We went in to discuss lazy eye concerns and the need for glasses possibly. These issues did not get addressed and instead we talked about the most extreme possibilty. I wish they would have gone through all our options instead of just list the worst case scenario and act like it was probably the right diagnosis.
