Dr Salman is excellent w diabetes management. I took a friend to him who had developed DM while on chemo. He is such an expert in the field. She was not being managed well by her internist so I think Dr Salman was a key partner during my friends chemo. Thank you.

The worst practice I have ever been to. I am very surprised that I found high ratings of it on healthgrade.com.
It started with the office personnel's attitude (receptionist).Very ignorant lady. I think she was bitchy because she could not handle the amount of transactions (answering the phone and servicing patients at the same time). Not sure if I ever wanted to hire or keep such an unfriendly and unprofessional receptionist. If you can pass it, you are off to the level number 2- the doctor, who was late first, then showed up in a dirty robe with a dirty shirt underneath. It was a turn off. In my opinion, regardless of your experience and knowledge, you, as a doctor, should at least be presentable to your patients. Then he wrote down all my questions and information on a STICKY NOTE, not even on a notepad or plain piece of paper, but on a sticky note. I should have ran away as soon as I saw it, but I didn't, and it was a huge mistake. He talked to me about my blood work that was done by someone else, and as I wanted it to be re-done, he ordered it. A month later, I finally received my blood work results. In order to get that I left numerous messages for a call back from Dr. Salman (he is the only one who can apparently read them to the patient) with both receptionist (who is useless) and nurses, and I have never heard from him. I basically harassed them every other day for to get these results. First they could not opened the file (!), then Dr. Salman apparently didn't check it, so they could not provide me with any info (my own lab work!) and finally (only a month later) I managed to get a fax from them. After getting them, I was twice disappointed, as he didn’t run the tests that I asked him to run and do (I wanted a second opinion and wanted a repeat of my blood work previously done; my insurance covered it all). You may consider yourself lucky if you get someone to pick up the phone when you call to the office, because getting through is almost as mission impossible. Even if someone picks up, they ask you to hold, because there is always "someone ahead of you". The wait on the phone can be from 5-20 minutes. If you have that much time to waste, then go for it. I wasted my time and money, which is a pity, but most of all I regret wasting my health on this unprofessional “doctor”. Luckily, my problem is not life-threatening, and I am scared to think what if it was serious enough. Needless to say, this was the last time I had gone to that practice. I do not recommend it to anyone and never will I have anything nice to say about the professionalism (none of it actually) of this doctor and his crew. Hope it helps someone to make a right decision.
