Dr. Steve is the worst endocrinologist I have ever seen. I am diabetic for 10+years. In my four visits, he had never checked me. As soon as I walked in, he pulls out order form for blodd test and in 2 min. my visit is done. He never calls to tell me how the results came out. He switched my medication and had severe skin rash. He did not believe it is because of new medicine which has side effect. I went to dermatologist and he conformed that new medicine is the only reason for my skin rash.

Dr. Rabinowe does not do any of the standard procedures that a endocrinologist does with a person with diabetes. Does not check your feet for circulation issues. Does not check your heart rate. I have been a diabetic for over 36 years, and this by far is the worst doctor I have ever had. Would not recommend him to anyone.

Every time I visit, I have to remind them why I'm visiting them. It makes me feel like they don't care about me. They answered very few of my questions. They were unresponsive and gave me little information. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. My appointment didn't exactly put me at ease, and I really left feeling unsatisfied as if nothing got accomplished. I was worried that they were going to wear an obnoxious cologne, because I've dealt with that at other places, but they didn't even wear cologne. It was fantastic to be able to breathe freely the entire time.

If you have a thyroid problem do NOT go to this doctor. He is arrogant and incompetent. In January I went to him and all he did was type into his computer the whole 5 minutes I was in his office. He hardly looked at me, didn't acknowledge that he heard or understood what I was telling him and he never even physically examined my neck. He ran one blood test and when I called for the results I was told it was normal and to come back in 6 months. Well, one week ago I had a complete thyroidectomy. After seeing him in January I felt he had failed to order the necessary tests. I went to a new endocrinologist in Chicago, and after running the correct tests, it was determined that I needed to have my thyroid removed. Thank goodness I did not listen to Dr. Rabinowe. I have been diagnosed with papillary cancer. I would not give him the 1/2 star but the site required that I do so.
