Not a warm and understanding approach. Has an attitude of superiority about him. Sees what is on paper without understanding that a patient has feelings and concerns, and he/she is not a statistictic or a value on a chart. The value on a chart may be the norm, but it does not identify with all patients the same way; patients are individuals and should be heard and treated as such. I hope St Francis Hospital provides our growing community in Greenville, SC, with a group of endocrinologists, so patients are free to choose. Dr. Bruch appears to be set in his ways, and does not appear to entertain change so the patient feels understood or better. I do not question his knowledge or expertise, but his approach with a patient lacks the warmth and understandind a patient seeks. He only sees the figures on paper. I don't feel comfortable with this provider, and do not recommend him to another patient.

VERY rude to me and to the nursing staff. Refused to explain anything - acted like I was too beneath him to understand.

They try not to, but sometimes it happens.
