This is the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a physician. I've never seen or heard of any doctor this bad. He needs to be reported. I'm wondering why he has a license? He is unquestionably unethical at best. He is DISHONEST in his billing, sarcastic, deceiving, prejudiced against the disabled, the underprivileged, against women in general, and if you're the slightest bit overweight, expect to be insulted as soon as he opens the door. He made unfair and rude assumptions about my reason for being there and never listened to a word I said. He double dips-- accepting the insurance company payment then billing the patient again. He won't accept Medicare patients unless you pay him $250 cash up front b/c they say, they don't like to do the paperwork. If you cancel 48 hours before your appt, they lie and say you never called. He belittled me, saying I didn't deserve my disability (duh--anyone can SEE it is valid), talked to me like I was incompetent, and abusively RUDE!!! I paid for lab tests for which I never obtained results or interpretation. "They" say he's so "smart", but what good is that if he never uses his brain, takes your money, abuses you and provides no service? Office girl was a rude lying smart alec. I have to question why any doctor would deceive and steal in multiple ways from his patients while he provides no service and his waiting room is empty??? I used to work as a nurse in a medical clinic---there is absolutely no excuse for his behavior, which is pathologically narcissistic and antisocial.

I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference. Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable. I have been seeing Dr. Beno for at least 15 years and have never regretted it. I have had other Endocrinologists before Dr. Beno. and was very unsatisfied. I have always found him to be caring and interested in my well being. I find Dr. Benowitz to be very knowledgeable in his field of expertise and able to communicate that to me.
