He earned his Medical degree at Universidad de Montemorelos and completed his post-graduate residency and fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He chose endocrinology as his specialty because he understands its effects personally through family members with Type 2 diabetes. Dr Escalante has been in practice since 1994.
