Eye Specialists of North Colorado caters to the individual needs of each patient. We have three board certified Ophthalmologists as well as well-trained ophthalmic assistants who provide personalized attention. We do much more than just check your vision and give an glasses prescription. We provide comprehensive eye care and full service treatment and management to ensure internal and external eye health and vision. We find that our extensive use of technology and highly trained staff allows the doctors to spend more one-on-one time with our patients.

Eye Specialists of North Colorado offers a wide range of vision care treatments ranging from routine eye exams to highly specialized surgical procedures for treatment of cataracts, glaucoma and other eye conditions to meet our patients' diverse eye care needs. Dr. Carter, Dr. Weeks and Dr. Foe specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all eye conditions and diseases including, but not limited to:
• General Ophthalmology
• Cataracts
• Glaucoma - A disease that affects the optic nerve when the fluid inside the eye does not flow out of the eye properly.
• Keratoconus / Cornea Transplants
• Dermatochalasis - Droopy eyelids that decreases peripheral vision.
• Flashes & Floaters - Floaters are tiny clumps of gel/cells inside the vitreous, inside of your eye. Flashes are caused when the vitreous pulls on the retina.
• Detached & Torn Retina - A retinal detachment occurs when the retina is pulled away from its normal position, causing your vision to be blurry. A retinal detachment is a very serious problem that almost always leads to blindness unless it is treated. The symptoms of a detached or torn retina are floaters, flashes or a curtain over the vision.
• Macular Degeneration - Deterioration or breakdown of the macula (the small area in the retina that allows you to see fine details clearly). Two types of macular degeneration are Dry AMD and Wet AMD. Symptoms are distortion or loss of central vision. It is the leading cause of decreased vision as we age. While there are no available treatments for patients with Dry AMD, there are available treatment options for patients with Wet AMD. Dr. Carter utilizes injectable medications such as Lucentis, to treat patients with Wet AMD.
• Diabetic Retinopathy - If you have diabetes mellitus, your body does not use and store sugar properly. High blood sugar levels can damage blood vessels in the retina. The damage to retinal vessels is referred to as diabetic retinopathy. All people with diabetes should have an annual dilated retinal examination.
We offer free screening for LASIK and PRK patients. We are the most experienced LASIK/PRK doctors in the Greeley area.
