She got me in late and last minute. She explained to me in detail what she felt was needed to do, why, and how to take care of myself at home between appointments. She is knowledgeable, understanding, caring and concerned. The fact that she walked me through every detail making sure I understood was a great breath of fresh air. She did not treat me like a no name patient, but as someone she is concerned for and she has/is taking all the steps to help me heal.

It was fantastic to be able to breathe freely the entire time. They listened closely to everything I was telling them, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I've never had to worry about them forgetting something or not reading my information correctly, which I've encountered at other places. I didn't feel any numbness after my visit. They always take good care of me.

I have about 9 years of experience seeing Chiropractors. I've lived all over the state of California, hence the reason for so many chiros. After problems with my previous Chiro's insurance in Long Beach, I had to find another one. I saw that Dr. Sheila Homer was in my network of united healthcare so I gave her a call.

Upon reading about her online, she's been a Chiropractor for 20 years....however, that experience does not show. There are so many negatives about her as a chiro, I don't know where to begin. Firstly, after telling her that I have extremely flat feet and wear orthotics, she just acknowledged it but didn't ask to see my feet nor orthotics, where as every single chiro I've had before her would check. Secondly, the main reason why I came to visit her was because my body was torqued and one shoulder was much higher than the other(and still is). After 6 visits, she just did the same three basic adjustments over and over and I each time I came back home with the same lop sidedness. She claimed this was because of my leaning forward of the neck, and said it would take months of rehabilitation to correct my body!

Every other chiro I have had in the past was able to adjust my body and level my shoulders after one visit, or two at the most. She claimed it would take months of adjustments....come on. This woman doesn't know what she's doing, and shouldn't have her license.
