He seems to have a natural ability with animals and is able to calm them down somehow. It is nothing obvious that you can say you saw him do.

When your pet had to stay in overnight care did this veterinarian call you with follow-ups when they promised they would?
Absolutely, they usually call more times than they say they promised. I was fully informed the whole time.
