I brought my dog in to get his yearly checkup and shots based on price, which I totally regret! I have a Jack Russell mix who will be 2 years old in November. He is not at all mean or aggressive in any way. When the vet walked into the exam room, he had an assistant who walked in ahead of him. The assistant was a tall, muscular guy with tattoo’s all over him. He picked up my dog and placed him on the exam table, and had his right arm wrapped around my dog as if he were going to put him in a choke hold. I didn’t think anything at first since he wasn’t putting any pressure and my dog seemed fine. The vet then examined my dog and was getting ready to give him his shot in his lower leg. My dog got a little squirmy and the assistant tightened his arm around his neck and I literally watched him choke my dog so bad that he was making a noise as if he was being strangled and his eyes were rolling in the back of his head. I then stood up and told the assistant that he needs to stop and that he is hurting my dog! He said, “No, actually I’m just controlling him”. The vet never said a word about any of it. I will NEVER step foot back in this place. This really makes me wonder how they handle the animals who’s owners are not sitting in the room!

No, there is no way to reach this vet if it is after business hours

No. I have to re-explain my circumstances every time

Sort of, my pet seemed more anxious here than other places we've been
