Stay far away. This doctor will hurt someone one day. Pulled 8 teeth on my brother and when my brothers mouth wouldn’t stop bleeding no one returned our call. Upon consult my sister went for her 8 teeth removal, (I have zero cavities ;)) but after waiting 45 minutes in the oper before even getting her blood pressutaken she lost it. Apparently herblood pressure was high and the doctor then told her that her primary care doctor was garbage. ??? This man’s a joke. I have watched so many people stumble out of this office over medicated it’s ridiculous. Be careful. Apparently you’re only supposed to safely remove 6 teeth at a time.

I will never refer this dentist to anyone. I was appalled by how rude the office staff was to the patients. Out the four young women who were "working" in the reception area, NOT ONE of them greeted any of the patients when they entered. I had been in the waiting area for 45 minutes before I was acknowledged.
One of the young ladies was actually BORED and was playing on the computer. She doesn't seem to have any manners or respect for the patients. While on the phone she was munching on a bag of chips!!
Just observing this much told me that this dentist and his staff are very ill mannered and do not care about their patients well being!!

Dr. Shapiro is the most caring provider I have ever been to. From the moment you enter the office you feel relaxed. I'm very scared of any dental procedures, but after my experience with Dr. Shapiro, I'm no longer hassitant about any dental procedures.

I am a patient who works full time, goes to school full time, and commutes 90 minutes twice a day. I scheduled my appointment 2 months in advance during my spring break, my FIRST day off in over 4 months, only to wake up early and come to a locked, deserted office. I was among the 4 or 5 cars of patients waiting for the appointment that never came. If the office wanted to be closed the day after Easter, they shouldn't have booked appointments or should have called to cancel. I saw one woman, PREGNANT, who waited TWO HOURS before leaving. This is not how a professional office treats their patients and I am seeking a different oral surgeon. It is my opinion that Woodbury Oral Surgery should be mortified by what their patients experienced today. Horrible, just absolutely horrible. I would not recommend this office to anyone I know, especially if they are seeking a doctor who has a flexible schedule.
