I was at Renaissance Park Multi-Care Center for five and a half weeks, after having surgery for an infected hip replacement. I have often found that when the head administrator of any type of business or facility is visible, it is of good quality. My infectious disease doctor happened to mention that he had a physician assistant at Renaissance Park. I decided to choose that facility. When I was admitted there, I was happy to find that the friendly head administrator was visible every day, either in a department, in the halls, or even saying hello to clients in their rooms.

It was mentioned to me the second day what an excellent Physical and Occupational Therapy Department this facility had. I was heartened by the way they communicated with each other and how they encouraged their clients. They worked as a team and when they needed an extra hand, each one was immediately available. They were amiable, light-hearted, and above all, knew their stuff. This may sound too good to be true, but it was definitely true here.

Seems when I needed something special, it was often the nurse who was personally responsible for me to whom I was supposed to go. She was caring, reliable, and got things done for me. I felt confident knowing she was there.

All too often, the specialized administrators and the liaisons between insurance and the client are not seen. It was different here. They were proactive, contacting me in person, up front with information I needed to know. Most of all, it was just a part of their being to call me by name and be truly interested in my well-being, much different from "just doing their job and going home."

Sure, I was anxious and demanding at first. I soon learned to pace my requests, to apologize, and to be patient when people had their own particular job to do.

Renaissance Park was further from my home than many other rehabilitation centers on the list I had been given to choose from, but I'm glad I chose this one. One other thing: the food was good !

When viewing the establishment we thought that the therapy looked great and that was a big part of why we picked it. Once my mother in law arrived on a Saturday morning she received no therapy until Monday. We were told that she would be able to pick what time she wanted to do therapy but when she arrived they picked for her and it was not convenient times for her. And it was not 3 times a day as stated by Tammi when we went and looked at it. Once she would push the call button it would take 20-30 minutes for the nurse to come in. During her 20 day stay she had 2 good nurses and the rest were not worth it. The food she would request would not be what arrived when it was time for her to eat. We had a meeting scheduled to meet with all of the staff at the rehab and nobody showed up and 30 minutes later they tell us that they had all left for the day already. Very poor management and would never trust them to care for anyone especially someone I love and care for!

Don't let the outside fool you! This is a wonderful community with a 5 star medicare rating. I was very impressed with the care and staff. Food was excellent!

The family of Dorothea Gafford would like to thanks the Renaissance Park Family at Fort Worth for the tender loving care they showed our mom while living at their facility. We could never have found her a better home away from home! Each employee gives so much of themselves and more to make each resident feel special and loved. If you find yourself or a loved one, needing rehabilitation or long term care, we suggest you take the time to tour their multicare facility. You will be you did!! Dr. Quang Le and associates along with all the nursing staff provide wonderful healthcare. They also have outstanding rehabilitation department along with awesome food service as well as super fun activities programs and outside trips. Thanks again Renaissance Park from the bottom of our hearts for all the TLC given to our mom. You will always be part of our family and prayers.

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary
