Madison County Nursing Home in Canton, MS has a wonderful and caring staff. The AD nurses and aides treat my mom, who has Alzheimer's, with only love and respect. The admin staff are most knowledgeable about finances; the social worker is professional and goes out of her way to meet my requests, I.e., getting a minister to distribute ashes on Ash Wednesday; the Activity Director is entertaining and cheerful: the residents and their families appreciate all that she does for them. The facility is kept clean and laundry is reliable. Food is good too.

We have toured other nursing homes around here, but Madison County Nursing Home by far- was the best!!!! When I leave from a visit with mom, I know she is being taken care of by the best people!

They need to update there phone on the web. Hard to speak with them for business purposes when there phone is disconnected.

The waiting room here is spacious. I never feel like I have to sit too close to someone or that it is overcrowded. I've never seen anyone who is more respected by their staff. The entire staff only had great things to say about working there, and it made me want to return all the more. One of the first things I noticed about this business was the level of detail and attention to make the building handicap-accessible. Even the bathrooms were designed to be accessible with doors wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and grab bars in the stalls. You could tell they really made an effort to accommodate people with all different needs. They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up.

My mother is in this nursing home and they have bent over backwards to help her. The director is extremely responsive to her needs and the head nurse and all the nursing staff are extremely kind and helpful.
Occasionally, due to short staffing, it is difficult to get a diaper changed or some other adjustment made, but eventually, they do deal with the issue. For the most part, the staff is extremely helpful.
