The Therapists, PA's, and Nurses were excellent. Always professional and especially caring. My good friend was in room 110-A provided the best of care. Everyone we came into contact with on a daily basis were friendly and attentive. I was very impressed. I enjoyed going there to provide support to my friend. A very big thank you to all involved.

My 90 year old mother was involved in a car accident and hospitalized for 2 days for ankle surgery. Since she did not have a 3 day stay, she wasn't eligible for Medicare to pay for rehabilitation. My brother and I took her home to recover,, but quickly found that we could not provide for her care properly.

We contacted the administrator at Chesapeake Health and Rehab Center for assistance. He had his admissions team contact us and helped us get the orthopedist and family physician to provide the paperwork necessary for a private pay admission. This was impressive because we were not able to get the physicians to cooperate. They obtained hospital records and we got her admitted at 4:00 pm on a Friday.

The rehab team started working with my mother that day and every day for the 30 days that she was there. My mother and I were extremely impressed with the professionalism and the friendly manner of the rehab team and everyone we came into contact with. My Mom felt like she had new family members from the first day until the last.

Mom commented that the housekeeping staff always took a little time to visit with her as they performed their duties and she liked the interest that they showed for her condition and personal needs.

She even enjoyed the food. claiming that it was almost as good as home and certainly 100% better than hospital food. She looked forward to each meal.

We would recommend Chesapeake Health and Rehab Center to anyone needing skilled nursing and/or rehabilitation services. The staff were great and my mother recovered and is functioning on her own at home again. Thanks.

My agency placed a client in this center recently. This was a very difficult client and chesapeake healthcare did an excellent job taking care of him. The staff are very compassionate with patient and did an exceptional job taking care of him.

my mother was admitted here after surgery. i couldnt have asked for a better rehab center. she had been at other centers and chesapeake healthcare was FAR beyond what we could have expected. everyone was friendly, attentive, compassionate and you could tell they truly care about what they are doing. she loved the food and did very well in therapy with a very grim prognosis when first going there. if any other family members have to have therapy, we will definitely make the same choice. everything exceeded our expectations

I would rate this facility higher if I could! I felt like everyone was family to me. I highly recommend this place to everyone! I'm glad I can come and exercise. Everyone has been nice to me including you. (Sara, Discharge Assistant)
