They answered my questions and spent the time I felt I needed with me. I didn't feel like they were trying to rush my appointment at all. I was able to relax during my appointment here. They did what they needed to me as a patient. They always address me by name, and we're able to pick up right where we left off at the last appointment. I did have to wait a bit in their waiting room. However I feel if he takes time with them he will do the same for me. I was in his office within a week for my first consult and had surgery 2 weeks later. If I ever need surgery sometime in the future, I’m going to return to them again if at all possible. I have referred some of my Friends to him as I feel he is a great Doctor and it would be hard to find someone better.

The staff made it completely obvious that they didn't respect Dr. Herkowitz. It made me very uncomfortable and I will not return. I've been places before where they were argumentative and angry, so I was nervous that I would encounter that here as well. Instead, they were very calm and understanding the entire time. I could tell THE OFFICE STAFF really cares about everyone who visits them. They weren't the worst doctor I've ever been to, but they didn't entirely convince me that they knew what they were doing. I was still nervous. They are WAY overbooked and I waited an hour and a half only to spend about a minute or two at most with the Dr.. This was my first and last time seeing this doctor. They seem to be more concerned about quantity of business over quality. The atmosphere with the doctor was he was rushing and it was obvious he just wanted me out of there as quickly as possible. I believe his diagnosis was correct (this was a 2nd opinion visit), however, all of my concerns were not addressed; it was more of a dictation that was given to me. He did not educate or inform me of issues I didn't already know. Please note that the office staff was fantastic, however, and I had a wonderful experience dealing with them both over the phone and in person. They helped me with everything I needed.
