I have always had a very good experience with this provider. Yes, it is expensive. And I also had a molar fail with concurrent infection after a filling replacement. I believe I was cautioned that this could happen before it was done. There was a lag between the completion of the work and the correct diagnosis, and it was a difficult experience for me, with the pain, illness from infection and expense. But I was well cared for over all.
Dr. Iselborn was dealing with a very old filling that was over large and done by a questionable dentist long ago. The referrals I had were good generally although the Endo has a TERRIBLE manner with patient interaction. Now, more than 5 years later, my teeth are in great shape and my health over all has improved. I even received massage therapy after going in for jaw pain after he determined it was tension related. I had my husband see Dr. Iselborn who referred him to a Perio and now my husbands oral health has improved significantly. Yes, it's expensive. Unfortunately, that is the reality with dental work. A CareCredit card gives one up to a year to pay the balance which is a great help.

While I had a relatively good experience here, I also had a routine filling replacement that caused my tooth to "die." I developed an infection and then needed a root canal and another filling. Terrible pain and emergency Endo visits as well as urgent care visits. One tooth cost me over 2K! I was not given a price quote for the final work, 2 crowns, and the first visit alone was $2900. Care Credit charges 28% interest and now I am unsure if I chose the right practice. Staff are generally friendly.

I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. I'm very confident that my health is their top priority, and I know they would never recommend any sort of dental procedure that I didn't need. I trust them completely. All the equipment at this office is state-of-the-art. I feel very safe here because I know it's safe and current. Plus, he's a fishing buddy of my Dad's!

The dentist and staff were so friendly and accommodating. I have never felt more welcome at a dental appointment! They always explain every aspect of my dental procedures to me. I never have to worry. I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for.

Please avoid if possible.
I had visited the office back in August 2010 and had 3 fillings done. I was told that this would cost me approximately $170 with my insurance. Having paid the amount on the spot I thought I was fine.
6!!!!!!!! YES SIX!!! months later I received a bill for $346.20.
I understand that there could always be some discrepancy between what insurance pays and the total, but to have your bill come to 3 times what you thought it would be is absolutely unacceptable. After many calls to insurance agency and the dentist office I found out that the type of fillings that they used are considered cosmetic and will not be covered.
Now this would be great to know BEFORE they decided to do anything.
I am now in the proccess of disputing the claim and sure will have many more painful phone calls ahead of me. Please save yourself some time and pick another dentist if you can.
