Very rude person on the phone. I tried to make an appointment for my step daughter to have wisdom teeth removed. The girl was short and rude even sounded as if she didn't even want to see us after she found out what insurance she had. I told her that it is fine for us to pay fully out of pocket and get reimbursed for insurance and that we had care credit. I was then told that we would have to pay 10% additional fee for using care credit. I was still going to bring her in because she was in pain but the girl rudely said she would not even make me an appointment until she verified insurance. I told her if I am paying out of pocket 100% what does her insurance verification matter. She was rude again. At this point I no longer wanted to bring my daughter in and I informed the employee that it is not legal to pass a percentage fee onto the patients she then told me that "yes it is the doctor pays care credit 20% he makes you pay 10 of it and he pays 10" I work with care credit at my employer and I know that the fee is only 5% if the patient uses 6 months no interest. SCAM artist. If you don't want to pay the care credit fees don't offer it!!!! I would not even take my dog to this "surgeon". I am only thankful that enough red flags went off on the in initial phone call to stop me from going through with an actual procedure.
