One needs to get past the initial "cool/aloof" demeanor to realize what a brilliant doctor he is. I also found him to be considerate of my feelings and very dedicated to his trade. My surgery was not a simple one, quite the opposite. I ended up with a 4" incision rather than a much bigger, expected incision. I would recommend him without a doubt!

Dr. Chinn is a wonderful, caring, professional. I have the utmost respect for him. He is very knowledgeable and is able to explain things in a layman's term. He was very kind and patient. His receptionist was also so informative and always went the extra mile.

I had a very good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Chinn was patient and personable. He asked me questions about my family. He answered all of my questions about my health including ones I was worried about. His knowledge is impressive. When sticking his finger up my you know where he was quick and efficient. Truthfully, I appreciated that. I plan to see him in the future.

He also treated my father-in-law a number of years ago and was expert and empathetic.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed.

Dr. Herbert Chinn is on top in his field. My husband was lucky to have found him. He takes the time to explain everything and he is easy to speak with. You don't feel like you are being rushed. My husband had two prior Urologist that we can compare Dr. Chinn to, and by far he is the best. He relieved a lot of severe needless pain that my husband was going through by simply taking the time to explain a simple remedy that his other Urologist should have known, but was too busy to even ask or care about.. Doomed diagnosis by him and now finding out through a simple CT scan, that there is plenty of hope and if necessary a simple surgery. What a relief. People with urinary problems are in pain and need a urologist that shows compassion and a desire to find and remedy the cause, Dr. Chinn is number one for us and a blessing we thought we would never find. I highly recommend him and would not mind waiting longer in the wait room, because it means he is taking time with his patients. Isn't that we we all want?

He ignored my questions and seemed rushed. Their staff was friendly enough. I feel like my appointment was pointless, like I am just another case to him. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. Worse, said things that were insulting to me and my family. I left feeling I had been belittled and verbally abused by him. I can't shake this feeling of put down by someone who should be kind to patients.

This provider has made grave errors in diagnosis, management and treatment, leading to hospitalization and complication.
Moreover, his manner is rude in person and on the phone. We have a voice recording of him post operatively: rude and condescending. He accuses any one who questions him as "panicking" - an intimidation measure.
I would NOT recommend this provider.
