I visited Dr. Leonard Gordon for pain in wrist from a bicycle accident. I didn't go immediately but after almost a month as the pain was still lingering and I was concerned about long term effects. The appointment started on time and I liked that the nurse immediately took an x-ray of my hand. I have been to other places where the doctor will first consult you and then refer you to get an x-ray center and then ask you to come back with the results the next day or after several hours for evaluation. Having an on-site x-ray machine was very convenient and an obvious pre-step for any bone related injuries. Dr. Gordon patiently listened to my story and carefully inspected the x-ray and my wrist with several mobility tests to make sure if it was fine. He explained to me how it was showing signs of improvement and gave a few recommendations on the precautions I should take to help it heal faster without pushing me in to buying an expensive brace or medicines. All in all, I had a good experience at the Medical center and would go back for further treatment if necessary.

Nurse Lettie was most beautiful and kind to me. Also at the front desk was a sweetheart admin lady who's name I have forgotten. We took pics at the end together but she helped me with paper work ect because I left my paper at home. When Dr Len appeared he was thin classy with shiny shoes and nice smile. He knew me from my performances and called me Famous! I dug his Accent he told me came from South Africa and that he moved to SF 1976? I told him I moved to SF 78 from NYC. We spoke of my right hand pinky finger having trigger finger. He decided it best to give me a cortizone shot. This hurt like hell! I have strong tough drummers hands from birth not used to be Stabbed. He promptly asked me were we still friends. I thought about it and said, "yes". He told me to check back with my dr about my blood work and gout condition. That it may have something to do with my trigger pinky. Ok at the end was cool cause I played the role of Rock Star and took pics and hugged and made everyone feel the love!?????????? I'll let you know how it all turns out. Peace to all for now. Love Narada

Dr. Gordon is a great listener, and takes the time to explain the injury/problem and the possible diagnosis and treatment options.
