I only write reviews to help people make good choices, so I pray this helps someone. I had a nightmare experience at 2 other dental offices. Which caused me to have so many current issues with my teeth. I was referred to Dr. Safian from another dentist who I will review at a later date. I have to say as a medically complex and therapeutic foster mother after reading one very negative review about this Doctor I was concerned and afraid to go to him. I prayed before I went, and I have to say there are always 2 sides to every story. I have been a mandated reporter for children over 15 years. I can honestly say I don’t think this man would deliberately inflict pain on a child or anyone. I will say this I can only speak on my experience, and I had to get a tooth removed that I had been in pain on and off for months.
I can’t begin to tell you how impressed I was from the time I entered the door from the warm greeting I got from both ladies at the front desk Yvonne and Mary. Also, January who was Dr. Safian’s assistant, this woman is amazing she help keep me calm walked me through everything from beginning to end. Then Dr. Safian came in made sure she covered everything with me, then got started right away. As God as my witness, I felt 2 sticks of the novacaine and that was it!!! I had to ask to see the tooth that was extracted because I didn’t believe it was out! Dr. Safian just smiled and said you are going to be just fine. I was truly in disbelief and continue to be because I still feel no pain after. Dr. Safian and his staff are AMAZING!!! You can tell that he has surpassed the limits of his skill. I pray God continues to bless this office with continued success.

I was scared of the unknown, but was quite pleased with my outcome. I had multiple extractions that day and he did it in record time and effortlessly. The next day I was not sore at all considering the amount of teeth he had taken out, and bleeding was a minimal only for the first day. I was outside the next day walking my dog, weeding the yard, and resuming to my usual activities. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend his practice to anyone who needs oral surgery.

I have a bad experience. The front desk rude. I know about dental claims. They didn't want to summited to my medical. They didn't explain correct how the claims was summited. They didn't lisent about me concern about how they will going to bill the claim. Went you have impact complete bony you can summited to medical. I told them but they only were concern about my co-pay and they didn't hear or look at my medical card. Before you do business with then call you medical insurance and ask question.

Dr. Safian's office should be a benchmark for all other offices to follow. Everything is run very efficiently, you get in, get out and above all the grade of care is excellent. I can't believe how smoothly everything went for something I was dreading to do.

I was sent to this oral surgeon to have a tooth pulled. My dentist said he was a like a big teddy bear and was good with TMJ patients. It said he worked with TMJ on his website. When I got there, they had 2 different TMJ pamphlets out front talking about all the different ways to help TMJ. When I met the doctor he told me he doesn't treat TMJ....that the pamphlets and the website just listed it...I was a bit puzzled at why that was.I wouldn't have gone to him if I'd known that. Then he proceded to give me a bite block(common for TMJ patients) but it was not the one normally used for TMJ patients and was way too big and uncomfortable. Due to his being so curt and short, I was afraid to say anything and laid there in pain. Then he gave me many different shots in the roof and side of my mouth to take my tooth out. In the end, he couldn't get the tooth out and told me I would need to come back and be sedated because I was still experiencing a lot of pain. I've had 4 root canals, and wisdom teeth out without sedation, so it wasn't me being uncooperative. He seemed very annoyed that I was still in pain. NOT a good person to go to if you require knowledge of TMJ. I left in tears, literally. And he had no kind words for me. I didn't return to him and told my dentist about my experience.
