This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had at a doctor's office. I called to cancel my appoint weeks in advance, and they insist on sending me bills for a no show appointment. They refuse to acknowledge office error. Waiting over an hour to see this dr. is most definitely not worth it. Upon researching other reviews, multiple people had the same to say. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE SUBJECTING YOURSELF TO THE IGNORANCE OF THE PEOPLE IN THIS OFFICE .

I completely agree with the last review I read. The doctor and staff were friendly upon my first visit. Although the doctor found know clear break, fracture, etc. it was recommended that I make a follow up appointment. I called to cancel the appointment with several days notice because my son's injury healed nicely and the office staff would not let me cancel. They were bullying me into keeping the appointment and said I needed to speak to the doctor to cancel. I was happy to do so only the doctor wasn't available and then I had trouble hearing back from the doctor. I called back AGAIN and still they would not "let me" cancel. I said we would not be coming - still in advance of 24 hours notice at this point and then they billed me for a no show. Still fighting the bill. Completely left a bad taste. Have heard from others that he drags out the number of appointments and then the staff gives a hard time if you cancel - even with adequate notice.

Dr. Sider and the staff I have dealt with are thieves! Dr. Sider has a great bedside manner and comes off as a very nice man, but it is indeed deceiving. I came to Dr. Sider with what I believed to be carpal tunnel as well as tendinitis which I got secondary to giving birth 4 months prior. (very common) I told him I can deal with the carpal tunnel, but was unable to care for my son efficiently with the excruciating pain I was getting from the tendinitis. He prescribed an anti-inflation pills and asked that I come back for carpal tunnel testing. I came back the following week for the testing, which was done by another individual. I was then asked to make another appointment to go over the results. I came back AGAIN the next week for the results. The results showed I had carpal tunnel and Dr. Sider suggested I have surgery. I told him I did not feel that it was necessary to have surgery yet because I just gave birth and it is very common to get it during pregnancy, but it usually improves within a few months, from what I read. I did complain again about the tendinitis, which was extremely painful. He asked me to come back in another week and he would give me the cortisone shot. He said he would like me to continue taking the anti-inflammation pills to see if it works. (another appointment for him to bill) So I made yet another appointment the following week and he finally gave me the cortisone shot and was trying to convince me to get the surgery, but my carpal tunnel had improved greatly by them. Before I left he asked that I make ANOTHER appointment to see if the cortisone shot worked. I asked him if it was necessary to make an appointment if I was better. He said sometimes the cortisone shot does not fully work and he wanted to make sure I did not need more. AKA I want to be able to bill you again! After I payed my co-payment the secretary asked that I make another appointment and I said I would call in. Dr. Sider happened to be standing by the desk and said I should just make the appointment while I was there, so I did. Needless to say, the cortisone shot worked and I canceled my appointment and knew I would never return to him again.

I forgot to mention that I waited over an hour for each appointment. One time was over 2 hours.

A few weeks later I get a bill for $25.00 for a missed appointment. I meant to call to inform them that I canceled that appointment, but I honestly forgot since I am a busy mother. A few weeks later I get another bill with the $25.00 fee a $10.00 late fee and a $28.50 fee for an x-ray he gave to me. At the point, I called right away to settle the miscommunication. When I called I very politley told the women who answered (Briegette Weber) that I had canceled that appointment and would like the fees waived. She very RUDLEY told me that there was no proof of cancelation and that she would not waive it or the late fee. How can I prove I called. I didn't think I was dealing with a bunch of crooks that I would tape the conversation. I also did not know what the x-ray fee was and she informed me that that is a co-payment my insurance bills me for x-rays. I had two x-rays and wondered why I only got billed for one if it was a legitimate fee. I also informed her that I felt that I was being taken advatage of because of everything that occurred with Dr. Sider. She very unprofessionally yelled at me and said she takes it personally that I would accuse Dr. Sider of this, and hung up the phone on me!

I called back to talk to someone else in the office and I spoke with Jannette Pace. The conversation with her was a little heated as well, but she said she would look into it. A few days later she called me to let me know that they will waive the missed appointment and late fee, but that I need to pay the co-payment for both x-rays. I asked my insurance and they said that I do have a co-payment for x-rays. (I think some dr.'s are nice enough to waive that fee since they get paid for the visit and x-ray anyway I have had an x-ray and an MRI before and was not charged that co-payment.) I thanked her and said I would pay it with no problem once I get the bill. My problem was not the amount of money, it's is the principle that I was billed for something I did not owe.

A few weeks later I get another bill with the $25.00 missed appointment fee the $10.00 late fee a $28.50 and a $33.36 fee for the x-ray and some $2.00 surcharge! I obviously called again and was put on the phone with Briegette. I very nicely explained my situation to her (I didn't know it was her at the time). I said I was told that the missed appointment fee would be waived. With a raised voice she said "no one has the right to waive that fee but me since I am the billing manager. " I asked her why she was being so rude. She responded by saying "I am not being rude, but if you want me to be rude I will send you to collections" and she hung up the phone on me. I called back and spoke to Crystal. I asked Crystal to speak to someone else in the office because I was treated horribly by this women who I am surprised still has a job! I was told to call back tomorrow. We shall see what tomorrow will bring.

After several visits regarding hip pain, I asked the doctor if he would take an X-ray of the area where my pain was. He told to stop acting like a 2nd year medical student and that it was my lower back that was the problem. I told him to go to #$%! and never went to see him again. Another doctor, a neurologist I was seeing for the same problem, asked for an MRI of the affected area on my first visit. This revealed some minor lower back issues (no surgery needed, like Sider was pushing for) and a lesion on my iliac bone. Sider was clueless and refused to look where it hurt. I would never, ever go back or recommend this doctor.
