One particularly impatient and rude staff member. You spend 2 minutes with the Dr over the course of your visits and then a stream of personnel who never explain what their roles are or introduce themselves. It feels more like a CPAP business than a Dr's office.

I had difficulty adjusting to a CPAP machine (first timer) so I called and they told me to come in. The rude staff member comes in and blames me for spending such little time on the machine (due to an ill fitting mask and other problem) and says "Well you didn't use this much did you, so do you want a dental device or what" - no discussion about my difficulties, no advice or anything.

Really I felt like if I wasn't a cookie cutter 'CPAP is a miracle cheerleader' that I should go elsewhere because there were easier people to make their money from.

Not recommended.

Nurses are rude and apparently doing you a favor by performing their job functions. Doctor is impersonal and in 3 visits might have spent a total of 5 minutes in the exam room. Billing is a joke. Billing is done through a third party, who then sends your credit card information to the doctor's office who then sends it back to the billing center. 2 weeks to process a credit card payment. The only kind of follow up has been from the CPAP equipment supplier. Avoid this place at all costs.

He ordered a lung cat scan, then follow up cat scan 6 months later, due to 8 suspicious lesions. Cost of over $800. When I tried to get results, couldn't get appt for 2 months! Rude nurse Sharna said I know you think you are dieing but he can't see you for 2 months, and she would tell me results! I am getting records and going to a real dr.

He totally & completely failed me. I did a sleep study to determine whether or not I have sleep apnea. The test results indicated that I do not have sleep apnea & I felt as if he was brushing me off in my follow up appointment, as in "You don't have sleep apnea, there's nothing wrong with you." My instincts are such that I just know there is SOMETHING wrong, since it is not normal to sleep for 15 hours/night on a regular basis. During the follow up appointment I was almost crying & asked what I should do now & he didn't have an answer. I was given paperwork detailing my sleep study & read it at home. I was shocked to see that during my sleep study, I slept only in the first two stages of sleep. There are FIVE stages of sleep, with REM being the fifth and most important. THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM! How anyone could possibly come to the conclusion that there is nothing wrong with my sleep is beyond me. Look at the obvious: he's a pulmonologist. Evidently as long as you keep breathing you are just fine. He claims to do "sleep medicine" & does not recognize that problems exist outside of breathing.
