While the Dr. is great, the staff is horrible, particularly the two older women there. Miserable attitudes and downright argumentative. The one at the front desk (with the British accent) submitted my paperwork incorrectly to my insurance provider, which "I" caught accidentally while calling the ins. co. about something else. Correcting the mistake got me $105 refund...which 4 months after the original visit, I'm still waiting on. Why? Even though she agrees it's due to me, she's holding it ransom until some other paperwork SHE neglected to send in for 4 months hasn't been completed yet...although that paperwork is not relative to my refund. Further, after having had a surgery there, a couple months later I called to find out what Pathology said and she was all "um, sorry...I filed the report in your folder and so we forgot to set up an appt.". Really??? This woman needs a new job...somewhere where dealing with the public and helping the consumer is not necessary!!! Again..the doctor is fine...but it's what you have to get past to get to him. Meanwhile, I'll wait for my refund for the next 1-2 months. So, unless you're prepared to track these people down constantly for months on end for information and help, go somewhere else. If the people who answer the phones are rude, keep looking...it won't get any better after that.

I'm not quite sure why this website gives Dr. Adams a 4.5 out of 5. If you refer to multiple other websites such as ratemds.com and healthgrades.com, the reviews are AWFUL, and so was my personal experience! Dr. Adams completely lacks bedside manner, lacks professionalism, and comes off as extremely arrogant. He failed to introduce himself to me initially, and did not explain anything to me about the procedure in the consultation. When I did ask him questions, he would condescendingly respond with answers such as, "I haven't killed anybody yet," "I've done thousands of these." All the while, he failed to answer my completely unrelated questions. When I asked him if he thought we could schedule the surgery before summer was over, this was his response: "Let me tell you a story. There once was a doctor who could perform two surgeries at once, and until I can figure out how to do that, talk to my receptionist because I don't answer these questions." Thankfully, I was smart enough to not schedule surgery with him. However, if you venture to other websites and read the reviews, the work he does is as horrible as his bedside manner. Avoid Dr. Thomas O Adams at all costs!!

Not really. I had to schedule an appointment for most of my questions.
