I've only been once. But my first impression of going to this doctor is not good. I believe he labeled due to my circumstances from the start and didn't want listen to a word I said. I felt like because of my age and circumstances he was looking at me like why are you even here.He cut me off before I could tell him all my symptoms. I had been waiting almost two months to go to this doctor and was so excited after going through constant pain for three months. I was hopeful that he would work with me and try to figure out what's wrong with me. Instead he just diagnosed me with no test to prove otherwise. I was so dissapointed leaving his office. I don't know if I want to even go back

found Shergy was poor at diagnosing illnesses. I presented with knee and ankle swelling as well as TMJ symptoms. He was convinced I had an inflammatory bowel disease preceded by arthrtis despite the fact that I had no diarrhea or symptoms of bowel disease. I had a colonoscopy done to rule it out and it showed that I had hemorrhoids but no IBD. After that, he didn't come up with any other possibilities even though my sed rate was high and fluid had to be drained off my knee. I went to another doc who immediately diagnosed me with reactive arthritis and started treating accordingly. I ended up back with Shergy b/c she went on leave. He then treated me with meds and I eventually improved. I went of meds after 2 or 3 years and the condition went into remission. About 3 years later I came back when I woke up with my knee swollen. He said it was an ortho. problem, even with my history. I ended up changing docs again and by then had bilateral knee swelling and TMJ symptoms.

Just a warning, they do not adhere to the customer is always right policy no matter what the situation is. They never listen to customers complaints and argue with them instead of trying to correct the situation. That's just bad business. I would never recommend them to anyone. They were terrible. I didn't feel safe at all with them. They had no idea what they were doing. I almost died from his diagnosis of fibromyalgia and it was systemic lupus.I was in ICU from pulmonary complications and had be transferred to a real team of real rheumatologists at UAB? Oxygen and transplant meeds you name it,over a month of touch and go, my family docs would send me back and he would say fibromyalgia. For months and months. His staff is cold and unfeeling and treats everyone as tho they are hypochondriacs and patients may well be like me and very I'll and not look it! And btw I am in the medical field and my colleagues feel the same way. Joke is that he attended DUCK University. QUACK QUACK! If you need anrheumy get outbox huntsville!
