Dr. Wright took his time with me and treated not only my neurological issues but my other medical problems as well. He is patient with me and makes sure he understands me correctly and that I am understood too.

Dr. Wright took over after my neurologist of many years retired. I have been under his treatment for almost two years after my doctor of the last 20 retired. On the first visit he was prepared completely with my medical condition and history. I have been with Semmes-Murphey for 26 years and have to say that under his I have never felt better medically. He immediately diagnosed something that I felt I had never had to address before. The most important thing to remember is that he is getting to know you just as you are getting to know him. He wouldn't be in the field he's chosen if he didn't care. Most important to me is - HE ALWAYS TELLS THE TRUTH. As everyone knows (or should) sometimes being told true self-truths can some oftentimes be painful....But they can save your life. Kudos Dr. Wright & Staff. You will be highly recommended.

I have been under this Dr.'s care for 15 years, and will remain in this area for this purpose. He is simply the best for me and my condition. I suffer from Migraine headaches which he has helped me control. There was a time when they drove me to the ER, now they are a 30 minute "I can get through this" inconvenience. Also, he diagnosed a back condition that changed my life that initial visit fifteen years ago. As for his staff, they are the very, very best. All are professional, but so kind, so very kind.

Dr. Wright visited me during my 4 day hospital stay atleast 3 times and diagnosed my condition pretty quickly. He displayed great bedside manners to me and my family and l looked forward to following up with him. Actually, my first visit to his office at Semmes Murphy was my last visit and it was very pleasant. My PCP followed all of his recommendations which led to a rather quick d/c. Therefore, I would recommend him to anyone in need of a neurologist because I was extremely pleased with the care and patience. His nurse is a great asset for Semmes Murphy as well.

The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for. It never fails how long I have to wait on hold when I call them. I'm always put on hold forever and I find myself not even wanting to call. Everything I told them seemed to go in one ear and out the other. I didn't feel like they cared about what I had to say at all. Sometimes, I have to persuade them that I have an important concern that needs their attention. Dr Wright was very arrogant and did not welcome questions...he got defensive. He didn't want to listen to my symptoms, he wanted to tell me what my symptoms were.
