They were kind and caring. I don't think I have ever been put on hold here for a long time and am impressed with how quickly all of my questions are answered. I never had to doubt their qualifications. They made their credentials completely obvious, which made me feel a lot safer. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. Dr. Policherla is the most accurate diagnostic neurologist in the area. His treatment far outweighs the others I have seen. Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as

I made the mistake of trying to see Dr. Policherla for a sleep study after U of M Hospital told me it would be months before I could get in there. There's probably a reason why U of M is so much more booked up... They do a much better job. I literally never saw Dr. Policherla in my entire experience with his practice. I saw a nurse my first appointment who took my history, then had my sleep studies (I realize he would never be at a study) then when I went back to review the results, I met with the same nurse who handed me results that said I fell asleep in 25 minutes and hardly moved during the night. I know I lay in that bed for atleast an hour (probably more like 2.5-3 hours) before falling asleep because I counted out 750 breaths while lying there, slow breaths too, relaxed and lying in bed breaths. The other thing I've been told by other doctors is that the 'sleep latency' test he had me take as well (a series of naps the next morning) was at best unnecessary and at worst a scam and money grab. During my final visit it just seemed like everyone there expected me to return later in the week to write them another thousand dollar something check for a CPAP machine. It felt nice later telling them over the phone that I found a much better deal online (1/4 what they wanted) and wouldn't be returning to purchase my CPAP from them. They were thrilled. Do yourself a favor, go to a better Dr. and explore options outside CPAP, like mouthpieces, but really never go to any Dr. who won't take the time of day to see you face to face.
