I actually enjoy going to this office! I have been Dr. Starkman's patient for 3 years I don't just feel liking I'm going to a doctor when I'm there I feel like I am spending time with friends. The staff is helpful and friendly. Lydia and Linda bend backwards to accommodate me. Dr. Starkman is very personable and knowledgeable. She keeps up with new treatments for my rheumatoid arthritis.

I was referred to Dr Starkman's office by my primary care physician who happens to refer all of his patient's here. I can see why. I have read all of the prior reviews on this site as well as others out of curiosity and Wow what a free for all forum. I guess anyone can write whatever they want whether true or false. A way to vent when they don't get what they want even if it is perhaps not the best thing for the patient. Anyhow I went to Dr Starkman's office because I wanted something for my terrible shoulder pain. I had not been able to sleep for ten nights. I could see that the Dr.did not want to just give me something to cover the pain but more to find out what was causing my pain and then get rid of it.Initially I was not happy that she did not want to give me exactly what I was requesting but that same visit, she gave me an injection in my shoulder. I was terrified but honestly I barely felt the injection and I was shocked when it was done. I had almost immediate relief and I have not had one pain since in that shoulder. I am grateful to the doctor and I am even nore happy that she didnt just give me what I thought I wanted and what I thought was best for myself because she truly knew better. I also should say that since I work for a doctor I have seen patients come in all the time who get upset because we do not have their referral or labs when they come. What they do not realize is that we depend on other offices and insurance companies to provide referrals, authorizations, correct insurance information to our offices. Sometimes they provide incorrect information. It's not always the doctors office fault.
