My experience with Dr. Birnbaum was one of the worst medical encounters of my life. As I waited 40 minutes past my appointment time, I observed how Dr. Birnbaum was rude and sarcastic to his staff. They talked about him after he walked away, in front of patients in the waiting room! It was clear they did not like working there. One woman seemed to be in charge, but was not very friendly. The others were friendly but clueless, even when calling the office, I had difficulty getting actual assistance and was told to call back more than once. Without going into too much detail, I will share that the exam I had from Dr. Birnbaum was unprofessional, unnecessary and completely appalling. He is CLEARLY looking to make money off his clients in any and every way possible. I, too, have a doctorate degree, which he acknowledged in conversation, and then was sarcastic and rude throughout our conversation. To treat anyone, much less a woman seeking help from a doctor this way is shameful. Do not see this doctor.
