About
My interest in neurology goes back to my undergraduate days at the University of Michigan, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Brain, Behavior and Cognitive Science. Afterwards, I obtained a Masters of Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania. I completed my residency in neurology at the UVM Medical Center followed by a fellowship in neuromuscular medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
As a neuromuscular neurologist at UVMMC, I want my patients to know that while my focus is to diagnose and treat their conditions based on the latest medical science, I place an equal emphasis on what matters to them most by attentively listening to their concerns. I also know that what is right for one patient may not be the right course of action for another. Keeping this in mind helps me develop rapport and trust with my patients.

I really enjoy meeting new patients and helping them navigate the process of diagnosing and treating neuromuscular disorders.
