Dr Anthony Mikulec evaluates patients with hearing loss and balance disorders, performing procedures that include cochlear implants, stapes surgery for otosclerosis, osseointegrated implants, and examination for hearing aids. Some procedures allow patients to return to their routines the day after surgery. Dr Mikulec also uses innovative technologies, such as the Epley Omniax device for benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, a treatment available at a small number of centers nationwide. His research interests include cochlear implantation outcomes and inner ear drug delivery.
