Helen Beane

Helen Beane, DNP, CNM, received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from University of Missouri. She received a master of science degree in nursing from San Diego State University and a doctorate of nursing practice from Ball State University.

She started her career as a labor and delivery nurse before beginning her practice as a certified nurse midwife in 2007.

She has a special interest in supporting the LGBT+ community, healthcare patient education and helping patients to better understand their bodies.

In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, all things music, and spending time with friends and family.

Our midwives offer meet and greet appointments to anyone who would like to learn more about midwifery care at Community. Come and tour our beautiful space, meet our team, and ask any questions you may have. Appointments are 30 minutes long and are available both in-person and virtually. Please call our office to schedule your meet and greet.
