Dr Girgenti received his MD from the University of South Florida and completed his Anesthesiology Residency at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He joins us from Morton Plant Hospital, where he was the Director of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia. Dr Girgenti's clinical focus is general, orthopedic, obstetrical, neuro, and cardiothoracic anesthesia. His research focus is the development of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols for robotic lung surgery.
