Hi, my name is Giles Peek. I work as a professor at the UF Health Congenital Heart Center and am board-certified in cardiothoracic surgery by the Intercollegiate Specialty Board of the Royal College of Surgeons, and intensive care medicine by the Royal College of Anesthetists. I completed a higher research degree by thesis at the University of Leicester in England. During my career, I served as a consultant (attending) cardiothoracic surgeon and head of service for the East Midlands Congenital Heart Centre at Glenfield Hospital, where I was responsible for the management of pediatric cardiac surgery, pediatric cardiology and pediatric intensive care. I also provided services for adults with congenital heart disease.
