She is the recipient of the 2023-2024 DanielV. Kimberg Memorial Junior Faculty Award foroutstanding teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students. She isthe Course Co-Director for Rheumatology and Autoimmunity for medical studentsat Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Teja Kapoor,MD is a graduate of New York Medical College and completed her internalmedicine residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Shecompleted her Rheumatology fellowship at Columbia-NY Presbyterian, beforejoining full-time academic faculty.
