Dr Cioroiu earned his medical degree at Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, in Romania. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Cabrini Medical Center, in New York. He then completed training in advanced wound care, working as a wound care specialist in several institutions in New York City. Dr Cioroiu sees patients with chronic non-healing wounds and has a particular interest in difficult-to-heal wounds.
