Elizabeth Izzo, Healing & Integrative Arts Practitioner

Emergent Creators springs forth out of a need and a desire to form professional community centered in Integrative and Healing Arts Practices. Offering professional services through these various practices informs our work, and creates unique opportunities for our clients and practitioners to evolve with expanded capacity and understanding.

Our practitioners are committed to bringing you unique offerings through the fields of emerging healing and creative energies. Committed to cultivating and offering a MANDALA of embodied creative and healing practices for an evolving cosmos and society— we are in support of Individual, Community and Planetary Wellbeing, Justice, Regeneration & Healing.

Emergent Creators was founded by artist, empath, healer, survivor, sacred activist, advocate and visionary, Elizabeth Izzo. Elizabeth has training and certifications as a Peer Mental Health and Addiction Specialist, and as a Chronic Care Health Coaching Professional. Her over 30 years of experience, advocating and working in activism and the healing and creative arts led her to this work as both a practitioner, and a collective founder. Elizabeth is currently studying Certification for Ecopsychology through Pacifica Graduate Institute.

Elizabeth's practice also draws on lived experiences, plus intuitive processes which re/connect her to a sense of belonging. Her integration process includes experiencing herself as whole, worthy and well. As such, this is a core objective when she works with clients as an Integrative and Healing Arts Facilitator.

Additional areas of study and practice include alternative modalities. Some of note are: mindfulness and self compassion meditation, plant and gemstone medicine, energy medicine, organic and permaculture gardening, shamanic healing, affirmation and gratitude practices, New Story study, women's circle leadership, and the development of artmaking as a healing practice.

Her Healing Artmaking work can be accessed through "coaching" sessions, and through intensive journeys for individuals, and additionally offered in group settings.

She draws from many psychospiritual tools which allow a person to access their own healing potential in a holistic way - which is also trauma-informed. She believes that Healing, Advocacy and Activism start from within. By understanding that while 'change is in inside job', and it's process also invites us to respond - in an equally weighted capacity, to becoming more aware and accepting of how systems of oppression exist, operate and are sustained. Through this understanding, we are moved into more conscious optimal and just actions/choices/co-creation which are all necessary for expansive collective liberation, and for our own evolution.

“THE MOST IMPORTANT ARTIST ALIVE TODAY, IS THE ONE LIVING INSIDE YOU!”

Art-making speaks to us from places we cannot easily access through ordinary sensory awarenesses. It’s an intentional process and journey you can allow yourself to move into flow with, and surrender to - without an attachment to a particular outcome and to discover in-joyment through. Learning to detach through creative play can be both freeing and life changing for other areas in our lives - areas where we are attached to outcomes of which we may lack control over. We learn to let go, let life unfold in a co-creative way.
