As an Adult Nurse Practitioner with 8 years of experience practicing in primary care, geriatrics, and mental health, I offer a holistic approach, looking at mind and body as an integrative system. I offer warmth, genuineness and empathy. I have 9 years of nursing experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, newborn nursery and teaching prepared childbirth classes. I have training through PSI In Perinatal mental health and am becoming certified as a PMH-C (Perinatal Mental Health specialist).
I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment, an unbiased sounding board. It is important to me that you feel heard and validated. To change, it is important to acknowledge where you are right now. I believe our brain is capable of change, and all of us can create positive change in our lives. I offer telehealth visits to provide medication management for Depression, Anxiety, pregnancy and postpartum anxiety and Depression, and adjustment difficulties (i.e. grief, birth trauma, infant loss, pandemic stress, etc.). I also offer treatment of diagnosed ADHD. Most visits include brief add-on therapy sessions, that may include meditation and mindfulness instruction, ADHD coaching, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, coping strategies. Mindful Mental Health treats all communities.
