Dr Allen Hershey is a third generation doctor who was inspired to follow his father and grandfather into the medical profession. He feels privileged to be able to help people who come to him with painful bone and joint conditions. He earned his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland in 1989 after graduating with a BS degree in Pharmacy from Oregon State University, Corvallis. After graduating, he completed his 5 year Orthopedic residency at Oregon Health Sciences University.

He continued his training with a Lower Extremity Reconstruction Fellowship at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation, La Jolla, California.
