Dr. Houda earned his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa., serving as chief resident. He went on to complete his cardiothoracic surgery residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, serving as chief resident.
