Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: My father is a family physician so growing up I was able to experience all that being a physician entailed. I was especially drawn to the relationships my father was able to develop with his patients. Seeing their appreciation for his dedication, medical skills and ability to improve their health seemed to make his long hours worth it. It did not take long for me to realize that being a physician was the profession I wanted. What I want my patients to know about me: I have been presented with significant family health issues that produced a large amount of stress in my life. I believe was able to get through these events primarily due to my faith in God and his Son Jesus Christ.
