Integrated Medicine Alliance currently operates three urgent care centers. Located in Shrewsbury, Hazlet and Middletown, these centers function as traditional urgent care clinics and offer an alternative to the Hospital emergency room for minor emergencies, injuries and illnesses during our off hours.
As one of New Jersey’s largest participating practices in the Patient Centered Medical Home initiative, Integrated Medicine Alliance is on the leading edge of revolutionizing health care with better patient outcomes and greater efficiency in mind. IMA Urgent Care - Integrated Medicine Alliance
Integrated Medicine Alliance is a medical “group-without-walls”, comprised of seven primary care practices, three urgent care centers, a diagnostic center that provides multiple tests including ultrasound, bone density testing, cardiology testing facilities and more. We are proud to serve Monmouth County and believe that as a group we provide the highest quality primary care in the area.Integrated Medicine Alliance currently operates three urgent care centers. Urgent Care
IMA Urgent Care Centers offer an alternative to the hospital emergency room for minor emergencies, as well as acute and chronic illnesses. No appointment is necessary at these offices. When you go to one of these centers, your basic information is available via our computer link (if you are an IMA patient).

Emergencies
Of course, if you are experiencing a major emergency you should call 911 for transport to your nearest emergency room. In particular, in case of a potential heart attack or stroke you must get to the emergency room without delay, as modern treatments for these problems may be able to limit or prevent permanent damage if aggressive care is received immediately. Time is of the essence!
Radiology
Is it a sprain—or a strain? Just an ache, or did something break?
All IMA Urgent Care Centers have x-ray machines and full-time, onsite radiologic technologists to help determine exactly what is bothering you. While x-rays are most commonly used for bones, they can tell your provider valuable information about kidney stones, coughs or other medical issues, information that helps your provider plan the best treatment for you.
All the X-rays taken at our IMA Urgent Care Centers are sent to a board-certified radiologist to confirm the findings. This process is known as an “overread,” and it is an extra step that we take to ensure our patients receive the most accurate results and the highest quality care.
