Home Matters Caregiving is an agency started by medical professionals in the Phoenix area that, through their own work and life experiences, realized the need for better in-home care options for seniors. Originated in Oregon, our mission is to enable seniors to remain at home and receive good care that isn't available to them through traditional non-medical caregiving, home health, or other in-home services. Our unique approach to meet the needs of senior citizens cannot be found in another agency. We offer live-in or hourly caregiving at a competitive rate, but we INCLUDE nursing and occupational therapy services in this rate. In addition to basic assistance with housekeeping, cooking, driving, and companionship we are able to manage more complex needs. This allows us to assist those that are at risk of being admitted to a long term care or assisted living facility because of certain issues such as medication mis-management, diabetes, recurrent falls, dementia, and many other medical conditions. These conditions cannot be safely managed by a traditional non-medical caregiving agency, and the services provided by home health are limited and temporary. We keep our client base small in order to ensure the quality of care provided to all of our clients, and we coordinate care with home health, hospice, outpatient clinics, and physicians/specialists to maximize the services our clients are receiving. Our clients' needs are our #1 priority!
