Our CAREGivers are compassionate, thoroughly screened, extensively trained in the principals of CAREGiving (Basic & Advanced), Safety, and Activities. Some CAREGivers elect to train further in Personal Care and Alzheimer/Dementia (see below). They are all insured, bonded, reliable and dependable.
Our services provide assistance in daily living activities so you can remain independent in your home, or wherever you may call home, for as long as possible. Services include: Personal CareMeal Planning and PreparationShopping, Errands and Incidental TransportationMedical and Medication RemindersLaundry and Light HousekeepingRespite Care.
We also provide care for those with Alzheimer's disease, Dementia, and other memory loss. Our CAREGiver's training program for working with Alzheimer's and memory loss clients, was written specifically for Home Instead Senior Care by The George G. Glenner Alzheimer's Family Center's (or the Glenner Centers). The Glenner Centers is a non-profit agency affiliated with the University of California San Diego School of Medicine. It maintains three Adult Day Health Care Centers and a School of Dementia Care.
