The scope of my therapeutic work includes helping clients of all ages cope with depression, anxiety, loss, mental illness, violence, family discord, food and substance addictions, and relationship problems. A large portion of my clinical experience involves working with children, ages 6 through 16, struggling with divorce, loss, low self-esteem, bullying, behavioral problems, academic struggles, difficult adjustments, abuse, and trauma. I also have years of experience working with adults struggling with past and/or present relationships, anxiety, and more serious mental health symptoms.I believe you are capable of unprecedented growth and change. I have worked in a variety of settings over the course of her career, with experience in the school, community and private sectors. The majority of my career has focused on working with children, teens and their families using a wide range of modalities including psychodynamic play and talk therapy, psycho-educational groups, crisis intervention, family therapy and Brainpaint Neurofeedback therapy. My experience at a Community Support Specialist also gave me direct experience working with severe and persistent mental illnesses and providing excellent case management. More currently, I am focused on working in the private practice setting where she continues to work with child trauma, abuse, behavioral problems, play therapy, relationship issues, anxiety/depression and religion/spiritual issues. I also provides counseling for healthy lifestyle change, including weight loss for athletic performance.
