Dr. Srivastava is one of the Electro physiologists in the tristate area who specializes in the treatment of Arrhythmias (Irregular heartbeats) Dr. Srivastava specializes in the treatment of tachycardias by performing a curative procedure known a Radiofrequency Ablation. He also treats fatal ventricular Arrhythmias and Sudden Death Syndrome by implanting a device called automatic implantable defibrillator. In addition, he also performs significant number of traditional pacemaker implants for treating Brady Arrhythmias (slow heartbeats). Dr. Srivastava is also a leading Interventional Cardiologist in Washington,DC. He performs the largest number of interventional (Coronary, Angioplasty & Stenting). Dr. Srivastava had been responsible for initiating a program George's Hospital Center that has reduced significantly the acute myocardial infarction (heart attack). He was able to a replacing traditional TPA (clot buster medicine) with a rev interventional cardiology procedure. Dr. Srivastava was actively involved in the training of resident in the Internal Medicine residency program at the Prince George's Hospital enter.
