I live my passion to teach integrative health and wellness. With 35 years experience as a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist and wellness educator, I teach. powerful skills in self-healing and personal growth, through my holistic psychotherapy and integrative health consulting practice, SunStone Wellness, LLC. As a featured presenter and workshop facilitator at national healthcare conferences, community programs, and business organizations, sharing integrative health is crucial in empowering self- healing. I have published numerous articles, and recently released a guided meditation CD, Creating Calm Within to share these passions. As a Board-certified Healing Touch practitioner, secretary on the Board of Directors of Healing Touch International, and yoga teacher, I embrace the neuroscience research of mindfulness, meditation, biofield therapies, and movement to promote healing and wholeness in the world. Services Holistic Integrative Health services. I provide holistic psychotherapy and wellness workshops to promote stress resilience, healing, and wholeness. Through teaching contemplative practices of meditation, mindfulness, and movement ( expressive, yoga) with a foundation in cognitive behavioral techniques, I treat chronic illness, depression, anxiety, sleep issues, and PTSD/ trauma. Healing Touch and guided imagery are integral components of my holistic services. Using evidence based research to validate Integrative Health practices, clients grow in understanding of how to be empowered in taking charge of their health.
