Leah began her training as a massage therapist at the Monterey Institute of Touch in 1991 and in 1999 opened Surenity, a successful massage practice in the heart of Big Sur. She then went on to work at the exclusive Post Ranch Inn Spa for a number of years.
Leah continued her studies with Richard Cohen, creator of Kinetics, and discovered her passion for this slow thorough style of bodywork. This technique is especially helpful for people with specific injuries and problem areas.
Leah began working with chiropractor Dr. Kehoe in 2010 and joined Flowing Waters Wellness Center in 2012 bringing with her years of experience, education and her love of bodywork.
Over 50% of Leah's clients are seniors. She is experienced and able to target their specific concerns using gentle massage techniques. Some of the benefits of massage are lower blood pressure, reduced muscles spasms and cramping, increased joint flexibility and decreased anxiety. On top of all of this massage also increases circulation of both our blood and lymph. Lymph is the body's natural defense system against toxic invaders.
