I am a nationally certified and locally licensed massage therapist with over 25 years experience in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports Massage, Neuromuscular, Hot Stone, Natal Massage, Myofascial Release, Reflexology, Craniosacral, Reiki energy healing, Tai Chi, Qigong, and Deep Breathing Meditation techniques.
With skills honed through many years of hands on application, teaching and research, my gentle, healing approach specializes in chronic and acute pain relief, stress reduction, and well being counseling.
I hold numerous certifications in advanced healing practices, as well as degrees in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, and Wildlife Biology.
I am also a published writer and poet, professional musician and songwriter. I live on St Simons Island with my wife Cathie, have a massage studio there, and do house calls as well. I am available by appointment for massage at sliding scale rates and offer free health consultations.
My basic rates for a full one hour massage is $45. With every massage that I perform, I incorporate most all of my massage techniques, carefully and therapeutically addressing your every individual specific problem areas. For clients who book on a regular schedule after their first massage I offer a further discount.
